Who we are

2xTools (“we”, “us”) is operated by CloudBrain, based in India. Contact us about privacy at contact@2xtools.com.

What we collect

  • Account data: email address, and if you sign up with a password, an encrypted password hash (we never see or store your plaintext password, authentication is handled by our database provider, Supabase).
  • Content you choose to save: calculation inputs and results you explicitly save to your dashboard, preferences (currency, units, theme), and favorites.
  • Feedback:the “was this helpful” rating and any optional comment you submit on a calculator page.
  • Billing data: if you subscribe to 2xTools Pro, our payment processor (Razorpay) handles your card/payment details directly, we only store your subscription status and billing period, never your card number.
  • Usage analytics: if enabled, anonymized/pseudonymous product analytics via PostHog (e.g. which calculators are used), this is optional and off by default in self-hosted deployments.

Calculators you use without an account

You do not need an account to use any calculator on 2xTools. Without an account, your inputs, favorites, and history are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to our servers.

Who we share data with

We use the following third-party processors to run 2xTools. We don't sell your data.

  • Supabase, database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Razorpay, payment processing for 2xTools Pro subscriptions.
  • PostHog, optional product analytics.
  • Sentry, optional error monitoring (technical error reports only, not your calculation content).

Your rights

From Dashboard → Settings, you can export a copy of all data associated with your account as a JSON file, or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, no need to contact us first. For anything else, email contact@2xtools.com.

Cookies

We use a strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
