File processing

Most calculators and file-based tools (PDF, image, audio, video) run entirely in your browser: files are read into browser memory, processed there using local JavaScript/WebAssembly, and never transmitted to a server. Closing the tab discards everything. The specific processing method for any individual tool is documented on that tool’s own page and, for tool categories, on its category page (for example PDF Tools). A small number of tools necessarily involve a server because the feature itself requires one, for example URL Shortener and Link-in-Bio Page Maker, which store the destination URL (and, for Link-in-Bio, the page content you add) so the public link actually works. Remove Background and AI Upscale download a machine-learning model to your browser on first use, but still run that model locally, your image itself is never uploaded.

Account data

Authentication is handled by Supabase. We never see or store your plaintext password, if you sign up with one, Supabase stores only a securely hashed version. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS; data at rest is encrypted by our infrastructure providers.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card or bank details on our own servers, that data is handled directly by Razorpay’s payment infrastructure.

Third-party services

Supabase, authentication and database.
Razorpay, payment processing.
PostHog, product analytics. Events track actions like which tool was opened or whether a calculation completed, never the file contents, calculation inputs, generated passwords or pasted code you use a tool with.
Sentry, error monitoring, to catch and fix bugs.

If you believe you’ve found a security issue, please email contact@2xkit.com with details. We ask that you not publicly disclose the issue until we’ve had a chance to address it.
