Net Worth Calculator
Calculate your net worth from total assets and liabilities.
Assumptions used in this calculation
- Valuation basis: Assets are assumed to be entered at current market value, not purchase price, illiquid assets like property are only as accurate as your estimate.
- Point-in-time snapshot: This is a snapshot as of today, it doesn't account for taxes or fees you'd incur if you actually sold assets or settled liabilities.
About this calculator
Net worth is the single clearest measure of financial progress, but most people never actually add up every account, investment and loan they hold in one place, so they only have a fuzzy sense of whether they're getting ahead or falling behind. This calculator applies the simplest possible formula, Net worth = Total assets − Total liabilities, to whatever total figures you enter for what you own (cash, investments, property, retirement accounts) and what you owe (loans, credit card balances, other debt). The value of doing this deliberately, rather than guessing, is that it turns scattered account balances and outstanding loans into one comparable number you can track over time, months or years apart, to see whether your financial position is actually improving, which is a far more meaningful signal than watching any single account balance in isolation.
Worked example
₹50,00,000 in assets, ₹20,00,000 in liabilities
Result: Net worth = ₹30,00,000
