This calculator takes your combined monthly subscription spending and projects it forward to an annual figure and a five-year total, using simple multiplication (monthly × 12 for the year, annual × 5 for five years). Most people never explicitly add up every recurring charge across their bank and card statements, so the number often comes as a surprise. Seeing the compounded yearly and five-year figures side by side makes it easier to decide whether a subscription is genuinely worth keeping or whether it's time to cancel a few and reclaim that spending.
